Finished another 8×8 painting last month but instead of keeping it in my room with the other canvases, I decided to do something good with it.I am donating this painting to “Art for Japan,” an event organized by Nucleus Gallery to help raise money for Japan’s earthquake and tsunami relief efforts. The fundraiser event will take place on April 23rd but there will be an online auction on April 20th for all the artwork donated to the gallery. Since the event will take place in California, I have a feeling a lot of the animation artists will be participating so check out the exhibit and online auction for their work. They will also have artists designed buttons that you can purchase for $10.
“ART FOR JAPAN” is an emergency campaign project in support of Give2Asia and Artistshelpjapan their efforts in delivering aid to survivors of Japan’s earthquake & tsunami, and to support short and long-term recovery of the affected communities.
